Radio Station: They “Meant No Harm” with Beyoncé Imposter
You may have already heard that an Austrian radio station, Kronehit, is responsible for a little prank that made the people of the Austrian museum, the Albertina, a tad angry. The radio station called in claiming to be part of Beyoncé’s management and asked to schedule a personal tour. Obviously they sent an imposter.
They’re not at all sorry, though. They claim they were just having fun and that they didn’t have the intention of causing any damage.
A rep for the radio station says, “It was really exciting! We meant no harm on the Albertina! And hopefully afterwards our joke is a little bit funny for the Albertina!”
Well, I surely would have been disappointed at the time, but occasionally you need to just laugh at yourself!
